| The Great Hall
When dinner is finished, you are allowed a free period in the great hall.This is thime you're given to be at ease - to read, laugh, socialize, or just sit about. The great hall is just that - enormous. A massive fireplace commands the center of one wall. Six beautifly engraved marble columns form a circle in the middle of the room. Mythical creatures have been carved into each one - winged fairies, nymphs and satyrs. - pg 57 of G&TB

| The Parlor
A large poorly lit parlor filled with dusty books and withering ferns sits in front of you. There is a fire burning. It spits and hisses as it devours the dry wood. Laughter floats through the open double doors and you see several young girls in white pinafores shuffling through the hall.
